Weaving Experience Levels

At Lakeshore Willows we offer basketry workshops for weavers with all levels of experience - beginner, intermediate and advanced - to accommodate as many learners as possible.

Beginner

• Never worked with willow before
• Not familiar with the most basic willow weaving techniques
• Not able to make a simple willow basket without considerable assistance

Intermediate

• Made a few willow baskets
• Able to work independently on basic willow weaving techniques

Advanced

• Makes willow baskets unsupervised
• Experienced using a wide range of willow weaving techniques
• Able to follow verbal instructions and work independently on a wide range of weaving techniques
