The SKIB is a traditional Irish potato basket. These baskets were originally used for straining cooked potatoes, and even sometimes used as a table to eat from if there wasn't a better option around! More often these baskets are used for decoration as they sit flat on a wall, but can also be repurposed and used to dry herbs.
